I am an expert professional in the fields of dispute resolution and restorative practices. I am a mediator (accredited in Australia and the United States) and a group conferencing convenor.
I have worked as an independent consultant mediator, conferencing convenor and facilitator for over 20 years. My current professional practice includes managing workplace conflict, improving the governance of community and government organisations, and supporting mental health case management.
I assist individuals and groups to resolve disputes, manage conflict and promote effective communication.
I manage cases to assess challenges, and consider the rights, needs and views of the people and organisations involved.
Some matters I have worked in include:
§ Workplace disputes and conflicts between two or multiple parties (up to 30) involving performance issues, discrimination or harassment, poor communication and feedback, and interpersonal conflict;
§ Enterprise bargaining negotiations;
§ Work system design, evaluation and training;
§ Developing personal plans and addressing conflict in mental health programs between clinicians, carers and consumers;
§ Establishing decision-making processes within community groups and government organisations;
§ Addressing private family matters involving partnership problems, property issues, and extra-familial relations; &
§ Addressing harm caused in institutional and sexual abuse matters;
